Cruise Details
Before setting sail at 11:00am from the charming Royal Ramsgate Harbour you will be warmly welcomed on board the Mona Lisa with a complimentary glass of champagne.
The skipper will navigate clear of the breakwaters and steer south towards Dover. Taking the Mona Lisa to a comfortable cruising speed we will begin our tour around the ever-changing unique Kent coastline. The Mona Lisa’s sonar will be on so that you will be able to monitor the changing sea bottom and also see any wrecks or shoals of fish that we pass over.
We will follow a route past the mouth of the river Stour and along one of England’s most stunning coastlines taking in a number of bays and sea cliffs.
Other historical landmarks will be pointed out on the way including where St Augustine landed in 5971D, the town of Sandwich made famous by Lord Sandwich’s invention We will continue to follow the coastline past Deal Pier then mooring at the Dover yachting marina to go for a fine Lunch at Cullins Yard, which has developed an irresistible reputation for its sea food.
Cullins Yard is situated in and on the yachting marina at Dover Harbour. It’s a splendid location! A three course meal will await you, see the Cullins Yard menu.
Half a bottle of wine or two glasses of beer per person are included with lunch.
After Lunch we will board the Mona Lisa where you can sit back and relax on our way back to Ramsgate Harbour, with a possible seal sighting depending on the conditions and depth constraints of the tide. We will moor back at Ramsgate Harbour at approx 15:30 hrs.
